Adjacent to the Bay Oak Recreation Center in Fort Myers, The Fort Myers Beach Community Pool offers another option for enjoying the water during your stay in Florida. The spacious lap pool is perfect for getting in some low impact exercise, while kids will love the fun that comes along with the giant waterslide. The brand-new kiddie pool with a smaller slide and play structure is great for younger children.

Planning Your Excursion to Bay Oaks Recreation Center in Fort Myers

The Bay Oaks Recreation Center is located in Fort Myers Beach at 2731 Oak Street. They are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-8pm and Saturday from 10am-8pm. The complex includes four tennis courts, two baseball/softball fields, a disc golf course, a playground, and a natural area. Indoor amenities include a weight room, basketball courts, pickleball, yoga, and a variety of exercise classes.

The adjacent Fort Myers Beach Community Pool includes a heated lap pool with a large waterslide and a shallow family pool with a play structure and floating obstacle course. The pool is open daily from June through August from 10am-6pm. From September through February they are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-4pm and are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From March through May they are open daily from 10am-4pm.

Located at 161 Bay Road, the Estero Island Historic Society is open for tours and questions between 10:00 am and noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays exclusively. On-site staff are happy to provide a guided experience through the headquarters and are always ready to answer questions regarding the area’s roots, many transitions, and present-day appeal amongst locals and travelers alike.
